The Challenge
After two decades as a leading steakhouse in Saskatoon and Calgary, Carver’s was due for a refresh. They needed a new look — both in terms of branding as well as their bricks and mortar. The makeover would require the restaurant to close for several months, impacting revenue and putting their routine and regular business at risk.

The Solution
Set inside a hotel, Carver’s attracts two groups of diners—hotel guests on business looking to build relationships over a quality dining experience, and residents looking to have a special evening out where they are treated to exceptional service and exquisite food.
Although we targeted two distinct groups, our communications and branding promised Carver’s patrons the same things: all the comforts and accoutrements of an established steakhouse, delivered with a reinvigorated ambiance, presentation, and design.
A new logo, menus, signage and POS were developed, as was a new website.

The Results
Within weeks of reopening, weekly revenue had returned to where it was prior to the renovation and was growing steadily. Regular guests continue to return, and a new, younger group of diners are continually discovering Carver’s.
