After extensive expansion into the US and UK, Western Coal engaged St. Bernadine to help with rebranding from Western Canadian Coal to Western Coal and to better reflect their new company’s global positioning.

With the expansion into new markets, Western Coal wanted their new brand positioning to reflect their growth while reinforcing their image as bold, solid, and trustworthy.

The end result was a rebrand which helped to better communicate their strengths to all stakeholders while maintaining name and identity continuity with the existing brand image.
